Studio Ville Auvinen is a Helsinki-based design studio developing furniture and objects that support everyday life through clear form and quiet presence. The studio works across product design, small-series production, and custom furniture.
The practice considers how furniture and objects relate to how people live, use space, and use time. Rather than designing isolated objects, the work focuses on forms and relationships that can adapt to everyday routines and changing conditions.
Most projects are developed through hands-on work in the workshop, where ideas evolve through testing, refinement, and real-world use. This process-led approach results in objects that are clear, durable, and adaptable — designed to remain relevant as life changes.
The work aims to balance structure, material presence, and everyday rhythms so that objects remain useful and relevant as life unfolds.
